Job Summary
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity at a financial institution in Elgin, IL. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while conducting regular foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the building, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter. Document patrol findings, incidents, and unusual conditions, communicating promptly with leadership, site contacts, and emergency responders. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Work part-time weekends from 4:30 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sunday at a rate of $25.25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
