Job Summary
Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, and issue credentials while managing the front desk at a busy logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry activity, cameras, and alarms from the assigned desk, reporting unusual incidents according to site procedures. Support receiving and shipping operations by directing drivers and communicating arrival information to site contacts. Respond to access concerns and critical situations professionally, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed. Provide customer service to visitors, associates, drivers, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures. Work part-time day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
