Job Summary
Greet visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk while verifying identification, issuing credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records. Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communication systems to report unusual activity or security concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and visitor concerns in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed. Support site-specific policies and security procedures while upholding a welcoming presence. This part-time role in Goose Creek, SC, offers flexible scheduling from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM on weekends. Applicants must have at least one year of security experience, be at least 18 years old, and possess a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
