Job Summary
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access control points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras, and other site systems as assigned; document observations and report incidents to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
- Access control/badge experience is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred
