Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of laboratory areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, access concerns, and critical situations while maintaining a visible presence to support access control and customer service. Monitor visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports. Work part-time shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays in Chantilly, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Experience with access control and badges is preferred
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
