Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Response

Monitor and patrol assigned areas at a shelter location, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents while providing customer service to residents, visitors, and staff. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations by following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, exits, common areas, and perimeter locations. Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, maintain logs, and document observations accurately for site leadership. Work part-time shifts from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Mondays and Sundays at a location in Jamaica, NY.
