Job Summary
Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor flow while conducting regular unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public areas, offices, and the exterior perimeter to identify unusual activity. Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by executing site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities for incidents, alarms, and medical situations. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence. This part-time role at a cultural institution in Purchase, NY, includes Friday through Sunday shifts from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and pays between $17.26 and $18.26 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma, and pass a background investigation and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
