Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including offices, common areas, exterior grounds, and parking, to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while escalating matters per site procedures. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by supporting access control activities, verifying credentials, and directing guests. Observe irregular conditions and policy violations, reporting them to appropriate personnel while maintaining accurate incident and patrol documentation. Work part-time shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at a technology-focused location in Suffolk, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- CPR certification is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
