Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas in healthcare facilities, including parking and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations while following established protocols, and provide courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. Support access control, manage visitor directions, and escort requests in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document incidents and unusual activity accurately for leadership review. Work part-time shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This role requires a valid driver's license, at least two years of security experience, and willingness to receive required hospital vaccinations. Applicants must pass a background investigation and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience
- Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
