Job Summary
Provide customer service and execute security-related procedures, including managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and responding to incidents and critical situations. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. Respond to security concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and deliver exceptional customer service with clear communication. This part-time role in Charleston, SC, requires a TSA-issued TWIC and at least one year of security experience, with shifts running from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM on Tuesdays through Thursdays.
Required Qualifications
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
