Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols of production areas, warehouses, and facility perimeters to identify unusual activity and hazards. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established reporting and escalation procedures. Monitor entry and exit points to verify authorized access for personnel and visitors while maintaining accurate activity logs. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by executing site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Work part-time shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Sunday at a manufacturing and industrial location in Clayton, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least two years of security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Loss prevention experience is preferred
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
