Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including warehouse zones, loading docks, and the perimeter, while maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations by escalating matters according to site procedures and supporting emergency response activities. Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by verifying access credentials, carrying out site-specific policies, and maintaining accurate security logs. This part-time role in Janesville, WI, includes a split shift schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Tuesdays and 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Wednesdays. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma, and undergo a background investigation and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
