Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking zones, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations professionally while monitoring access points, visitor activity, and alarm systems. Provide customer service to residents, staff, and vendors by executing site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as needed. Prepare accurate activity and incident reports, communicating relevant details to leadership and site contacts. Work part-time shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Thursdays and Fridays at a residential care location in Allentown, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Desired Qualifications
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
