Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking zones, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity while maintaining a visible presence. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with a calm, professional approach, including appropriate emergency response activities. Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by executing security procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access points to verify credentials and escalate suspected access violations or unusual activity. Document patrol findings, incidents, and security concerns through clear reports. This part-time role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, at least one year of security experience, and CPR certification is preferred. Work shifts run from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least one year of security-related experience
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
