Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and entry points to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations professionally while providing customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel. Maintain a visible presence throughout the commercial real estate location, report unusual conditions and policy violations, and prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs. Work part-time shifts including Wednesdays 12:00 AM–8:00 AM, Thursdays 12:00 AM–8:00 AM, and Sundays 8:00 AM–4:00 PM at a rate of $17.45/hour in Bronx, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred
