Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and assist with visitor and contractor check-in procedures. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
