Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols of the business, perimeter, and parking locations, and assist with access control at a technology, media, and telecommunications site. Respond to security-related incidents and access-control concerns by notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities per site procedures. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while maintaining communication with leadership regarding operational needs. This part-time role in Garner, NC, includes shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma, and possess a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
