Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while monitoring access points and observing visitor, employee, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established post orders and escalation procedures. Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, communicating relevant information to leadership and site contacts. Work part-time day shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays at a technology-focused location in Fredericksburg, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
- A Guard Card/License is preferred
