Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols of the business, perimeter, and parking zones, and respond to security-related incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations. Assist with access control, notify appropriate personnel, and document activities in accordance with site procedures while providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with leadership regarding incidents and operational needs. This part-time role supports a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Garner, NC, with a Thursday through Saturday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
