Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, verifying credentials, and responding to incidents, alarms, and critical situations. Monitor visitor activity at access points and document observations in clear daily activity reports for shift handoffs. Work part-time day shifts from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM in Sterling, VA, with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
