Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while providing customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors. Monitor access points and visitor activity, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership. Maintain a visible presence to support a welcoming environment within a healthcare location. Work part-time morning shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
