Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. Respond to alarms and critical situations by notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities per site procedures. Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying authorized access for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Provide customer service and emergency response activities to campus partners. Requires at least six months of security experience, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma. Schedule includes Thursday through Saturday shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 months of security-related experience
- A valid driver's license
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort using a computer or tablet
- Customer service experience
