Job Summary
Establish entry control into the private community, direct visitors and non-visitors to assigned areas, and conduct patrol duties. Complete incident reports as necessary and dispatch when needed while providing customer service. Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, ensuring compliance with established protocols and collaborating with law enforcement or emergency personnel. Maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors within Leisure World Seal Beach. This part-time, non-exempt role requires 24 hours per week with flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of a high school diploma
- valid BSIS Guard Card or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- unrestricted California Driver's License
- positive attitude
- excellent communication skills
- ability to interact positively with the community, staff and visitors
- pass a pre-employment physical
- pass criminal background and drug screening
