Job Summary
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to deter security incidents at a logistics and distribution location. Control access to restricted areas and loading docks while providing customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. Respond to incidents and access concerns in a problem-solving manner, maintaining accurate records of all visitor and vehicle activity. Work part-time shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. This role supports Allied Universal's team in safeguarding diverse industries across Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ Years of Age Security Experience - 2+ Years
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- X-ray screening experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
