Security Officer Part Time Housing Facility

Monitor entrances, common areas, and perimeter access points while conducting regular patrols throughout the location to identify potential issues and unauthorized activity. Provide customer service to residents, staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out assigned security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts or management. Assist with de-escalation support and communication during emergencies to promote an orderly environment. This part-time role in Jamaica, NY, includes shifts from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday, with a pay rate of $18.87 per hour. A New York State Security Guard License is required.
