Job Summary
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established protocols while conducting regular patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, assist with visitor management, and complete accurate reports documenting observations and shift information. Work part-time shifts in Durham, NC, with a background investigation and drug screen required.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
