Job Summary
Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, and conduct regular patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity. Monitor access points, observe activity, and document security-related incidents and maintenance issues in accordance with site guidelines. This part-time role in Fishkill, NY offers flexible anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and an option to claim additional shifts via the Smart Tools platform. Candidates must possess at least one year of security experience, be 18 or 21 years of age depending on role type, hold a high school diploma, and have a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
