Job Summary
Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, and manage visitor and contractor entry while maintaining accurate access-control records. Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Observe and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and potential hazards using established reporting procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site-specific emergency protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the business perimeter at a chemical/petrochemical location. Work part-time shifts from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
