Job Summary
Manage entry points, verify credentials, and monitor access activity for commercial real estate tenants and visitors. Provide customer service while enforcing site access requirements, directing visitors, and documenting incidents or unusual activity. Respond to access-control alarms and critical situations by notifying site contacts or emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking zones, and the perimeter to identify security concerns. Work part-time shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at a location in Franklin Park, IL.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A valid guard card or license is preferred
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
