Job Summary
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors while managing entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining accurate access-control records. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by notifying site contacts or emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular patrols of commercial properties, building entrances, common areas, parking zones, and perimeters to identify and report security concerns. Assist with enforcing site access requirements, directing visitors, and documenting unusual activity or maintenance issues in accordance with procedures. Work part-time shifts on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at a Franklin Park, IL location.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A valid guard card or license is preferred
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
