Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles to appropriate areas of the logistics and distribution location. Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records and communicate access concerns or irregularities to site contacts and leadership. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. This part-time role in Meridian, MS, requires a six-month commitment to an anchor shift with flexible options to claim additional shifts. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma, and have a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
