Job Summary
Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles to appropriate areas of the logistics and distribution location. Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records and communicate access concerns or irregularities to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Work a fixed six-month commitment with the option to claim additional shifts via our scheduling platform.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
