Job Summary
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and manage visitor and contractor access at a logistics and distribution location. Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas including entrances, loading zones, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm manner, notifying site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Provide customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Maintain accurate access records and report unusual conditions or policy violations. Work part-time shifts from 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays. A high school diploma and access control experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
