Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building entrances, lobbies, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while monitoring access points and reporting unusual conditions or policy violations. Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities as needed. Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures. Work part-time shifts in New York, NY, earning $17.00–$17.25 per hour. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma, and pass a background investigation and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A Guard Card or license is preferred
