Job Summary
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by executing access control procedures, verifying identification, and documenting arrivals and departures. Monitor entry and exit points, deter unauthorized access through observation and challenging unapproved entry, and conduct regular patrols of the location and perimeter to note unusual activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, reporting security concerns to site contacts or leadership. Complete a six-month fixed-shift commitment at an assigned site in Manchester, NJ, with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
