Job Summary
Provide customer service to residents, staff, visitors, and service providers while conducting regular unarmed patrols of shelter common areas, entrances, exits, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity or hazards. Monitor access points to verify authorized entry and respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations by notifying site leadership and emergency services as directed. Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site-specific requirements. This part-time role offers fixed-shift commitments with an option to claim additional shifts through our scheduling platform, with a base pay rate of $18.87 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma, and pass a background investigation and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
