Job Summary
Security Officer for Low Income Housing — conduct hourly tours, perform access control, patrol designated locations, identify and report suspicious activity and safety hazards, and document daily activity and incidents. Respond to emergencies, maintain a visible security presence, and communicate security updates to supervisors. Requires a valid BSIS Guard Card and BSIS compliance, ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with additional shifts possible. Required Qualifications
- Valid BSIS Guard Card (required)
- Current with BSIS Compliance
- i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate
- 32-hour continuing education certificates
- Experience working graveyard shifts
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
