Security Officer - Part Time Armed

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established reporting protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and prepare accurate incident reports for appropriate personnel. This role requires a six-month commitment to a designated site and weekly anchor shift, with an option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Applicants must possess an armed guard card, one year of security experience, and a valid driver's license.
