Job Summary
Conduct routine armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations following established protocols. Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff while documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site leadership. Work part-time day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM in Charlotte, NC, at a healthcare location.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- An armed guard card or license is preferred
