Job Summary
Conduct armed patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized access attempts. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Support site operations during high-activity periods, after-hours coverage, and emergency situations while maintaining a visible presence. Requires a valid driver's license and armed guard card; schedule includes day shifts from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license
- A valid driver's license
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
