Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by executing security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations professionally while documenting observations and notifying personnel. Conduct regular armed patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unwanted activity. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations. Support site operations during high-activity periods, after-hours coverage, and emergencies while maintaining a visible presence. Requires an armed guard card, valid driver's license, and age 21 or older.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license
- A valid driver's license
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
