Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, building interiors, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while providing customer service to visitors, employees, and public officials. Verify authorized entry at access points and prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and observations for site contacts and leadership. Work part-time shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM on Saturdays and Sundays at a government facility in Orlando, FL. Possess an Armed Guard Card/License and be at least 21 years of age.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A Guard Card/License is preferred
