Job Summary
Conduct armed patrols of retail grocery locations, parking areas, and perimeters to identify and report suspicious activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances while maintaining a visible armed presence to deter theft and unauthorized access. Provide customer service to visitors and document all patrol activity and incidents accurately for store leadership and law enforcement. Commit to a six-month fixed shift at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the Smart Tools platform to increase earnings. Requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, three-plus years of law enforcement or armed security experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ Years of Age
- Active Armed Guard Card/License (Texas only)
- Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements
- 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
