Job Summary
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verify authorized access, and document security observations. Conduct regular patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking lots, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner while reporting conditions to site contacts. Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities as needed. Assist with crowd and visitor management and direct foot traffic during routine and unexpected situations. Work part-time day shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays at a commercial real estate location in Oceanport, NJ. A guard card is preferred, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
