Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized personnel. Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, trailers, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, documenting required information and reporting discrepancies. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Work fixed-anchor shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM with an option to claim additional shifts through our scheduling platform.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
