Job Summary
Monitor assigned commercial real estate areas, conduct routine unarmed patrols of buildings, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and tenant requests while maintaining a visible presence to support a welcoming environment. Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities as needed. Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements. Work part-time shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays at a location in El Segundo, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
- A guard card or license is preferred
