Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, including patient care zones, parking facilities, and perimeters, to deter security incidents and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations by notifying appropriate personnel, maintaining calm, and documenting activities per site procedures. Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while managing access points and visitor management. Complete required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, communicating observations to site leadership. Work part-time afternoon shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM in Durham, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
