Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine site patrols, and remain visible to deter security-related incidents at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations by documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel. Support access control, visitor processing, and incident reporting while verifying credentials and reporting suspicious behavior according to site protocols. Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities when required.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred
