Job Summary
Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at entry points, verify credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors, and document all entries and exits. Conduct regular patrols of designated interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, docks, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations involving access concerns or operational disruptions while providing customer service and enforcing site-specific policies. Work part-time shifts on Saturdays and Sundays at a logistics and distribution location in Dayton, NJ, with a background investigation and drug screen required prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
