Job Summary
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and process visitors at an aerospace and defense location while documenting activity on computer or tablet systems. Respond to alarms and incidents by escalating concerns to site contacts or emergency personnel. Conduct regular patrols of assigned facilities and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity through required channels. Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and vendors by executing site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma, and be comfortable using digital devices.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred
